Northeastern Spine & Physical Therapy’s (NSPT) existence is predicated on its unifying mission; to help people live active, healthy, and pain-free lives. Our practice is designed to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries; specifically targeting prospects in need of spine and sports rehabilitation programs. Individualized alternative treatment options will serve as the first line of defense. Once conservative treatment approaches are exhausted, the patient may be transitioned into the traditional medical model (pain management). The use of synthetic drugs and surgeries is an absolute necessity for specific patients/conditions; this will serve as the second line of defense for our valued patients and its use will be reserved with respect to medical necessity.
At Northeastern Spine, we utilize an innovative and unique multidisciplinary treatment approach for each individual patient, aiming to elevate NSPT as a prominent leader on the forefront of the rapidly expanding demand for alternative medicine. The ultimate goal is to provide the safest, most effective, and highest quality care for our patients. NSPT is a patient- centered organization and will strive to create the best experience for its patients, employees, and affiliates as it paves the road for the future of health care.

- Keeney et al (2012), Spine
"Older Medicare patients with chronic low back pain and other medical problems who received spinal manipulation from a chiropractic physician had lower costs of care and shorter episodes of back pain than patients in other treatment groups. Patients who received a combination of chiropractic and medical care had the next lowest Medicare costs, and patients who received medical care only incurred the highest costs."
- Weeks et al (2016), Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics

At Northeastern Spine, Massage Therapy plays an important role in our comprehensive rehabilitative programs. Massage works by reducing muscle tension, improving local circulation, and allowing essential nutrients and oxygen to gain access to the damaged site – essential for the healing process! Our bodies are smart – your muscles will get tight over the injured area as a protective mechanism to prevent further damage. Before we can actively rehab and strengthen the area, it is important that we reduce the spastic state of the overlying muscles.
Our highly trained therapists perform Medical Massages under close supervision and direction of our lead doctors. Before treatment is applied, the doctor will perform a thorough evaluation to determine the proper course of treatment. The doctor will work closely with your assigned massage therapist. This system makes something very special happen – QUICK AND EFFECTIVE PAIN RELIEF.
